Anyone who follows me knows I’m a significant proponent for Adobe’s Lightroom app for editing and cataloging photos. Over the years, Lightroom has gotten better and better, but there were always some things that needed the more advanced edits available only in Photoshop. And Photoshop – with the hundreds of things it can to with a photo – is a complicated program to learn.

Today, Adobe announced a significant update to the AI algorithm in the masking feature of Lightroom. This update is available for all three versions of Lightroom: Classic, Mobile, and the cloud version (labeled just ‘Lightroom’)

Rather than me trying to explain the changes, I’m providing a link to a great explanation from my friend and Adobe Evangelist Terry White.
